| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at developing a global ranking of knowledge management (KM) and intellectual capital (IC) academic journals. Based on online questionnaire from more than 230 active KM and IC researchers from 41 countries, there are found top five academic journals in the field: Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management Research and Practice, International Journal of Knowledge Management, and The Learning Organization. It is also concluded that the major factors affecting perceptions of academic journal quality are: i. editor and review board reputation, ii. inclusion in citation indexes, iii. opinion of leading researchers, iv. appearance in ranking lists, and v. citation impact. |
