| Tiivistelmä: | Models of systems whose components have dependent life length and are imperfectly repaired upon failure until they are scrapped are considered. Assuming that no more than one component can fail at a time,two models that describe imperfect repairs are studied and the resulting density and other probabilistic quantities of interest are analyzed. The models are generalized to cover applications in which more than one component can fail at the same time, and various properties of the resulting distributions are obtained. Finally the theory is illustrated through some examples. |
