| Tiivistelmä: | The analysis of sequential bargaining models is presented in which the bargaining powers of agents differ at different stages of the bargaining. The implications were explored: (1) it is not union power on its own which causes inefficiency but difference in union influence over different issues, (2) there are some identification problems, (3) the framework is excellent to analyze the likely impact of trade union legislation, (4) many of the equilibrium models used in industrial economics could be used in labor economics as well. |
