Tiivistelmä:Innovation has to be linked to a market driven mentality, tied in with customer needs. Studied are programs in large and small organizations to stimulate innovation. There are two primary factors: a repeatable business practice was enforced that involved a consistent process and philosophy of innovation; a pragmatic guiding focus accented market need. There is a process to innovation that makes it a learnable and repeatable skill. Most organizations studied possess the components, but not all are able to systematically support and exploit them.
