| Tiivistelmä: | Consider a dynamic job shop at which jobs arrive intermittently over time. The future arrival times of jobs are predictable only in a statistical sense. We will consider only the dynamic job shop systems which have exactly one machine in each service centre. It will be assumed that all jobs arriving belong to a single class and that the arrivals form a Poisson process. The purpose of this paper is to develop simple performance evaluation techniques for dynamic job shops with local scheduling policies. |
