| Tiivistelmä: | Traditional trade unions (here as: tr-unions) throughout the postsocialist world embraced 'social partnership' (as: soc-p-ship.) as a way for securing their institutional survival in an changed economic and political environment. This paper explores the fate of soc-p-ship. in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), where social dialogue has largely been abandoned and tr-unions alternatively marginalized or subordinated to the state apparatus. |
