| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims to trace and understand informal knowledge (herein as: knwl.) sharing (KS) networks for various competencies in project teams. For the study, two project teams were identified. While the other team had a semi-structured knowledge management (KM) system, the other had not adopted any KM practices. The knwl. network analysis was carried out for both teams for the competencies. This was more of an exploratory study. The results were compared across both teams with inferences on the knwl. networks. From a KM perspective, the various measures of the social network analysis can help identify experts, provide indicators to the extent of KS for various competencies, and provide foundation for current team KM practices. |
