| Tiivistelmä: | Canadian data is used to test stochastic /dynamic limit pricing, with weak results. The methodological problems include new rational limit pricing, oligopoly influences integrated into limit pricing, how concentration affects entrant behaviour, do factors that suppress industry profitability deter entry and the correlated proxy variables. The study gives 20 equations with theory and testing model for the limit pricing hypothesis. |
