| Tiivistelmä: | The growth of the national debt is empirically analyzed and the pattern of its index growth set up. By the use of Sims Test, the paper analyzes the causation of the national debt and financial deficit, the national debt and GNP, the national debt and the issuing of currency: the deficit bringing about the national debt,the national debt, in turn, increasing the deficit. |
