In the 80s it was discovered that every aspect of human resource management is vital and that personnel directors must be fully integrated into the management team. The author of this article talked to 20 top personnel directors to ask them about their views on their own role. The following issues were discussed: integration with the business, strategic input, enabling function, resourcing and performance management. |
