| Tiivistelmä: | To remain significant players in world markets, business enterprises need to become design leaders. Design responsibility has to be acknowledged first, especially the key element of a board's collective responsibility for design. Because of the low level of design enlightenment particularly in English-speaking cultures, most enterprises will require outside assistance to achieve such leadership. It is proposed that non-executive directors and corporate design consultants should be appointed to promote and support design leadership within business enterprises. |
