Tiivistelmä:The purpose of this article is to illustrate the usefulness of an expanded version of Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis, which combines text analysis with an analysis of discourse processes in studying text production and interpretation. This method is used to identify promotional news reports where the advertiser is a key actor in the process of promotional news production.
