| Tiivistelmä: | The author of the article states that managing expenses has always been a headache. But now we have the technology to save both money and time. Technology can also help to reduce expenses by doing away with the need for travel and its associated costs. The key is not to have K&E expense management standing alone. It must be a part of overall spending and the best companies are starting to use packages that help match costs to different parts of their businesses. The author states that companies should no longer have to impose blanket cuts in expenses. Instead they can make more sophisticated decisions, based on the strengths of individual parts of the businesses and their needs. Some companies are already seeing the benefits. But we are just at the beginning. |
