| Tiivistelmä: | The author investigated the impact of mood at work on absenteeism. He explored the impact of mood an absenteeism and took into account situational influences. He found that positive mood at work was significantly and negatively associated with absenteeism. Adjustment to the work situation was also influential for absence behavior. |
