| Tiivistelmä: | The study investigates merger stages between two large professional accounting firms in Canada. The research provides theoretical understanding of the merger process. During premerger courtship, managers were concerned with organizational fit as well as strategic fit, which was unexpected. Many problems of implementation occurred because of a professional workforce. These issues produced a decline in the perception of merger favorability among participants as time passed. |
