| Tiivistelmä: | It has been observed from an experiment that engineers' efficient performance of assembly planning is attributed to their utilization of heuristic rules to generate soft constraints of the assembly sequence, the strategy to develop the global plan of the assembly sequence, and the consistent, systematic strategy to finalize the detailed, local plan of the assembly sequence. Those characteristics of the engineers' assembly planning are used to design a user centered decision support system to assembly planning. |
