Tiivistelmä:How product market reforms affect unemployment? Explaining and solving the rise in unemployment in Europe has proven difficult. In this paper is used general equilibrium reasoning to identify the job destruction and job creation effects of product market reforms. Product market reforms in Europe have the potential to lower markups, to foster total factor productivity gains and to induce more rapid expansion of a product mix in a variety of industries.
