| Tiivistelmä: | Relying on a review of 22 years of articles published in 46 behavioral science journals 96 independent studies were found on age-performance correlations. The meta-analysis procedures revealed that there was no relation between age and job performance. They found little evidence that the type of performance measure or type of job moderated this relation significantly. In the case of very young employees a consistent and modestly positive relation between age and job performance was found. |
