| Tiivistelmä: | The focus of this paper is scheduling maintenance operations during shutdown periods when there are job priorities and craft manpower limitations. Solutions to this problem are found using the LINDO microcomputer LP software and a heuristic method which uses microcomputer sorting routines. Advantages to both approaches are shown. Also shown are procedures for integrating the shift-to-shift scheduling cases into long-term decisions about the maintenance operations. |
