| Tiivistelmä: | A number of factors - economic war, competition, missing job offers - make labour market internationally inactive. The situation in Germany is exceptionally serious: in September 3,5 million people were unemployed. Some forecasts indicate that this figure can rise to 6,7 million in the next two years. Economic analyses, international comparisons and scenarios made by professional organizations such as McKinsey Global Institute, OECD etc, have identified many threatening factors as well as turnaround opportunities for Germany. It is shown, however, that Germany has to find its own ways to overcome its difficulties. Neither the USA nor Japan can serve with model solutions for economic policy or economic restructuring. |
