Tiivistelmä:Essential changes have taken place in the competitive environment of domestic market due to the entry of inter- national corporations which are mainly the advanced countries'. Moreover, in the form of competition and degree of independence, profound changes have also taken place. The fields for competition have been expanded continuously. However , most of domestic enterprises can not adapt themselves to the changes so that the market shares of their products are declining sharply. The main reasons for their failure in competition are as follows: old concept of management, which doesn't keep abreast of the changing competitive environment, insufficient market surveys, identical objective markets, incorrect development strategy lack of plans on management which takes occupying market as the central task and backward management of trade marks.
