| Tiivistelmä: | There are imperfect aspects in China's foreign investment policies: (1)The direct combination of favorable treatment for foreign investment and restrictive measures is opposite to the principle of national treatment. (2)The policy of dual distortion, namely the coexistence of favour conditions and restrictions, which deviates from the principle of national treatment, is especially obvious in economic zones. (3)The standardization of foreign investment and its activities is basically based on some specialized laws concerning foreign investment. (4) Regional differences exist in foreign investment policies. Suggestions for the implementation of national treatment: (1) to draw close to international regulations; (2) to adopt unbalanced pattern of adjustment; (3) to unify policies and laws concerning foreign investment; (4)to raise the management level etc.. |
