Tiivistelmä:Due to today's pioneering work by companies and practitioners, organizations (hereafter as: org./orgs.) in the future will do a better job of finding relevant knowledge (here as: kn.), distributing it and putting it to use. As with knowledge management (KM), the implementation of network-centric warfare (NCW) is first of all about human behaviour as opposed to information technology (IT). To successfully implement NCW capabilities, four domains of warfare, that is, physical, information, cognitive and social, must be understood together with the intersections btw. the domains. If a kn. network is functioning within an org., the leader should know about its existence. It takes clear leadership (as: l-ship.) to set the culture and change it, and the l-ship. must remain involved in all KM efforts.
