Tiivistelmä:Advertising's main role is to reinforce feelings of satisfaction with brands already bought. In this paper the author first examines advertising and the consumption of goods in general. He then discusses competition among brands and the factors affecting consumers' brand choice, particularly for establishing brands of frequently bought goods.
