| Tiivistelmä: | Arthur D. Little, Inc. (ADL), with its head office in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is one of the oldest and most renowned consulting firms in the world. Founded in 1886, it carries out contract research and consulting services for governments, multinational enterprises and medium-sized companies in all sectors of the economy. These services consist chiefly of consultancy in questions of technology, operations management and strategic planning and the current focus of attention is the strategic management of technologies and of the product creation process. This profile describes the development and organizational structure of ADL. The working methods of section and teams are discussed in terms of self organization. |
