| Tiivistelmä: | About half of the information and consultation arrangements in Europe are in the metalworking and engineering sectors. The reason lies in the fact that this branch of industry has traditionally been dominated by multinational companies in close connection with the European Metalworkers' Federation. So these sectors have long played a leading role in the development of information and consultation structures at European level. The role played by European Metalworkers' Federation and recent developments in five companies are examined. |
