| Tiivistelmä: | Anyone who believes we have escaped, and will continue to escape, legal requirements to inform, consult and involve the workforce as a result of UK's opt-out from the Maastricht Social Chapter has overlooked the extent to which UK employers are already required to do all three. The rules have been introduced on a pragmatic basis, frequently, although not always, as a result of European Union directives. The separate provisions can interact and produce a greater effect than was expected. |
