| Tiivistelmä: | In this article it is suggested that while importers or domestic producers supplying the needs of the railway companies or defence industries were able to increase sales of iron products about three-fold between 1866-80 and 1910-13, those supplying Russian non-rail demand increased sales six-fold. |
