| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at providing an insight into performance communication (hereafter as: perf-comm.) from an important public service, that is, the Belgian Railway, towards its employees (internal) and stakeholders (external). Based on a qualitative research using 11 in-depth interviews among spokespersons,..., journalists, politicians, Ombudsman, and consumer organizations, it is found that perf-comm. focuses too much on positive aspects. Although both insiders and outside stakeholders admit that the frequency, amount and quality of perf-comm. in the Belgian situation are insufficient, the situation seems to result in utilizing additional media types. |
