| Tiivistelmä: | This is the final article in the series of 'Services science and innovation'. In Part 1, it is aimed to highlight key messages captured in the expanding discussion of the management of services constituting the majority of most developed countries' GDPs, and in Part 2 it is aimed is to test and to apply some of those lessons to a practical and challenging situation in the rail maintenance sector. It is drawn on a cooperative 2-year research project etc. It is a key point of the paper the debate being often too polarised and offering rather artificially extreme views from the standpoint of a pure product or pure services. |
