| Tiivistelmä: | Providing spare parts more efficiently while meeting the needs of customers and stockists is dealt with as a task. Problems are clearly identified in an initial examination of all relevant areas. A development programme is defined and explored by looking at client needs,understanding the basics of stock control,stores and supply management. Forecasting is aimed at the practitioner,and followed by instructions on cataloguing on classifying stock. A section on designing the information system leads to a translation of the logical requirement to practical data processing system. Finally the system is reviewed from the operator's perspective. |
