Tiivistelmä: | Compared with Tokyo, Shanghai is a production-type city with the secondary industry as its main industry. The proportion of its secondary industry's increased value reached 58% in 1994, higher than the average level of the whole country. Its another difference from Tokyo in industrial structure is that Shanghai's industries are more decentralized. In 1994, among the first ten industries, listed according to the total industrial output value in the city, the proportion of every one's output value to the total of the same trade in the country didn't exceed 15%. The proportion of the sum of the ten industries' output value to the total of the city's manufacturing industry was only 70.1% without gradient distribution of output value of industries. |
