| Tiivistelmä: | Compared with state-owned enterprises, non-state-owned enterprises have higher technological efficiency. At the same time, collective enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises which are of three types also have remarkable positive external effect. As to the negative external effect of privately-owned enterprises and Hong Kong-Macao- and Taiwan-funded enterprises, it is too early for us to make any policy suggestions for we are unclear about the concrete reasons for the creation of the negative external effect. Foreign investment has an active function to raising the overall technological level of China's industry. |
