| Tiivistelmä: | The concept of knowledge cities (KCs) is especially advantageous for any contemporary city. This paper aims at presenting the basic elements of a methodological approach (here as: m-appr.) for the integrated development of a KC. The basic elements of a m-appr., called KnowCis (knowledge cities) consists of five main phases: 1. diagnosis a city's status as a KC., 2. definition of strategy, 3. creation of detailed action plan, 4. implementation, 5. measurement/evaluation. |
