| Tiivistelmä: | The collapse of the formely communist countries and the Soviet Union is a major factor in the recent world crises. The social and political unrest in these countries with their ruined economy is a challenge to the developed countries because of the dimension of the crises. The lack of understanding of the nature of post communist economies and their process of transformation results in the marginalization of these nations in the integrating markets of Europe. There are no complete theories nor accepted hypotheses for the deep understanding of the political, social, and economic tasks. The theories at hand are unable to describe the transformation of the nationalized command economies. |
