The last five years has exhibited a marked slowing-down in the rate of expansion, and the theme of the report is therefore one of consolidation , of focusing on strengths. Three such strengths are identified: (1) innovation , notably the development of automated transaction matching systems for foreign exchange, futures and options; (2) teamwork, which is said to have shortened lead times; (3) attention to detail, notably the identification of customers' precise needs. |
