| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper , the impact of the US antidumping and antisubsidy laws is assessed. The paper does not attempt to directly estimate the effect that these laws have on the domestic economy, primarily because the data necessary for direct estimation are not available in the vast majority of cases. Instead , the author uses the data which is available to infer the effects of the US antidumping antisubsidy laws. The available data includes the outcome of each case, the value of imports involved , the value of imports penalized, the market shares of domestic and foreign producers, and the magnitude of the penalties imposed. |
