| Tiivistelmä: | The use of work breakdown structures and work packages as a method of disaggregation is a standard approach in many project management procedures. The mathematical programming model of project management presented in the article incorporates the work package concept to provide the analyst with a format which corresponds to the way large scale projects are managed an controlled. The basic framework follows the dictates of the work breakdown structure which is required for most government contracts and has been utilized in a number of other large scale projects. |
