| Tiivistelmä: | The valuation of consequences of domestic and foreign investments are studied by comparing stock price reactions to announcement of domestic plant closing and foreign one. It was found that closing of foreign plants indicate declining arbitrage opportunities. Closing of domestic plants indicate problems in production costs and/ or product demand. These differences result in asymmetric stock price reactions. |
