Tiivistelmä:An affective orientation is the degree to which individuals are aware of and use affect cues to guide communication. Four studies were conducted to explore how affective orientation relates to other communication constructs and behaviour. Some people seem to make considerable use of emotional cues in communications, while others discount their emotions as valid information.
