| Tiivistelmä: | The appearance of private radio and television changed the environment of the state radio and television. The article tries to determine how state media should react: struck a balance between serious and entertainment programs, innovate, give more information, serials, co-operate with foreign partners, have a responsibility for German culture, identity, with special reference to the unification process. |
