| Tiivistelmä: | The consequences of the new broadcasting techniques and deregulation policy in the UK are investigated in the article. The government proposal of 1988 concerning deregulation is analysed. It seems to infulence the quality of programmes unfavourably since licences went to bidders who paid the highest price. |
