| Tiivistelmä: | Development centres are being used in an increasing variety of ways, according to this research. The best are putting more emphasis on participant involvement and follow-up. Three broad categories of centre design emerged in this study. First generation centres are similar to the ones described in much of the literature on assessment centres. They follow the "conventional wisdom" and last for one to one-and-a-half days. Second generation designs give feedback during the centre. Third generation centres actively involve participants in generating their assessments. |
