| Tiivistelmä: | The article reports on an investigation of mixed metaphors which produced the new conceptual tool of hypersemiosis. Semiotic operators of discourse sequences control the correlations with other discourse units. Semiotic discourse operators also involve connotation and paronomasia. The functioning of these remains identical to that of the other operators. |
