| Tiivistelmä: | Business policy is understood differently by different researchers and practitioners.In spite of these differences some common components can be found in their interpretations.There are many possible classifications of the business policy.One of the well known distinguishes among basic (fundamental), developmental and current business policy.The article takes this classification as the base and tries to search for key informations, needed for the formulation and implementation of the business policy.In the first part the problem is posed and defined. in the second part the author identifies the most important informations for the formulation of a developmental policy in an enterprise as well as the key informations, needed for the formulation of a current (short-run) policy.Informations for the control of the policy implementation are treated in the third part.The discussion is logically separated into a segment which deals with informations for the control of the developmental policy implementation, and a segment which deals with informations for the current (short-run) policy implementation.In the final part the top management information system is critically discussed as well as the whole concept of the "tableau de bord" (control table).Some basic characteristics and limitations of these tables are analyzed and some suggestions given regarding their design. |
