Tiivistelmä:The world has changed dramatically since the Sherman Act was passed. The benefits of favoring small, atomistic firms over large competitors with economies of scale has lessened as the impact of global competition has increased. Big is no longer uniformly bad; it may, in fact , be competitive on world markets. Likewise, it is not uniformly undesirable for competitors to communicate with one another. In fact, it may be beneficial. The prevailing view today, and for the foreseeable future is that the benefits of cooperation exceed the potential risks of collusion.
