| Tiivistelmä: | This article proposes a graphical presentation to determine the approximate chances that an X-bar control chart will detect a critical shift in the process average with the first subgroup, or sample, that is charted after the shift has occurred. It also provides a crude estimate of the percentage non-conforming products that will be produced if such a shift occurs. |
