| Tiivistelmä: | Kaspi and Rosenblatt (1991) suggest a simple procedure, RAND, for determining the economic ordering quantity for items jointly replenished. They conducted an extensive simulation study and concluded that RAND outperforms all the available heuristic methods. The authors suggest a modified RAND procedure which uses a better estimate for the basic cycle time. |
