| Tiivistelmä: | Helping people with disabilities succeed in the workplace takes more than architectural accommodations and technical devices. Certain disabilities might limit a person's ability to perform certain types of jobs. But by far, bias and discrimination are the greatest barriers to employment that people with disabilities encounter. Co-workers who are not disabled frequently feel uncomfortable around people with disabilities. They might fear having to take responsibility for disabled colleagues or doubt that people with disabilities can't work effectively. |
