| Tiivistelmä: | The paper examines the variability of supermarket prices for a range of commonly-consumed grocery items relating to 1993 supermarket prices in south-east Queensland. The paper finds that there is a high degree of variability across supermarkets for most grocery items. Bakery items such as croissants, buns and crumpets exhibited the most variability, while canned vegetables were the lest variable. |
